Can somebody please take care about the students?

Well Hi everyone! The topic today is about my study program. Actually I don’t know too much about the changes that the administrative have made to the program, but I did know how hard it is for us to adapt to this changes especially when the subjects that we are studying have clashes in the schedule. Because of that, I’d like to propose some changes that, I believe, would help us a lot!First of all, it is known that we can’t finish our career in 5 years, and that’s totally true because without considering the Thesis Memory, that I believe take at least one year to made, you need to adapt to the schedule that Secretary propose to you and it will always be some inconsistency in the subjects that only taught the first semester. My point here is that if you fail one subject that only taught at the first semester, you must to adapt to the schedule in order the things that you can take that are available, and not in order that the subjects that you need to take! That’s really annoying!

I really thought that we need a little flexibility in that situation because it is too hard to keep going when you can take any subject that you would like to do, I mean, the career became so boring , I don’t know…at least that’s what happened to me.

The other thing that I would like to improve, it’s that we has really few field trips, I mean, we are in a career where we need all the practice that we can get!! And I believe it is just so poor. So If it depends on me, I would love to do more field trips, and more feedback with the peasants and the small farmers, because they can teach us a lot!

I hope that future generations can enjoy these changes and made the Agronomy world more social and a “face to face” kind.

SUMMERTIMEEEEE

My plan for this summer is to do nothing and sleeps as much as I can hahaha I don’t know; I really want to rest and do as little as possible! I believe that an I’m going to do some activities like go the pool. I don’t know, maybe a scape to the beach, but it is hard for me, because I came to the University with my daughter and I get tired of carry on arms every day, and taking the bus with her every single day… So that’s why I want to stay at home and do nothing hahaha I mean, it is a gif to my soul, but not to my body hahaha

Although my couple and father of my daughter, were in Castro a few months ago, on a business travel. He was so many days on that beautiful place that he made some friends. They has a lodging house and they offered a cabin for us to go on vacation so I may considerer that, because I don’t know the south! The problem for me is that I don’t save any money this year, and I hate that my partner pays me everything L I believe that if I want to go on that adventure, I will have to keep my pride hahahah J Will you recommended me? I believe that I only know to Santa Cruz haha I hope you gave me some advices J

Some advices!

Today I’m going to give you some advices that all I’ve learn with the passing of my maternity. It is known that alternative medicine has many benefits, one of the most important, in my opinion; it’s that you don’t need to attack your body with chemicals and harm your organism in a long term.
The things that I know about this topic, I’ve learned from my mom, from studying agronomy, and of course, for my personal search, because when my child get sick I give her traditional medicine, that doctors prescribes me, but, I also give her some infusions or ointments made by me, in order to hurry the recovery.
My daughter has been really susceptible to herpes, specifically on her mouth, so after seeing her suffer because she can’t eat  and of course because of the pain that this disease may cause, I search and I get really good information about the benefits of the olive, despite that  it does not exist an accurate scientific study  about the olive healing the herpes (although it works like an antiviral), it is known that could help to decrease the length of time that the virus acts, so I made to my daughter some kind of cream with the leaves of the olive  and with the liquid that its inside of the aloe Vera plant, with that combination you make sure that the herpes don’t last  that long, and with the aloe the wounds will dry faster. You must to apply directly on the sores.
Another plant that I use a lot is the Eucalyptus. The leaves of this tree have many properties, in which they are, expectorant action, antibacterial action and analgesic, as the most important. I use the leaves in infusions, but also, I give to my daughter so she can smell it. It helps a lot with cough and tonsillitis, because reduce the pain and calm the irritation of the throat. If the cough it’s too hard, I also put on the infusions avocado leaves, honey, lemon juice, ginger, and a little piece of garlic. That’s a bomb analgesic, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory tea. It’s really good actually, I recommended every time, because with that any cold can resist.

I hope I have been useful! J and please, don’t get sick in Summer, that’s  awful!

Keep going!

I believe that I mentioned before, but I`m going to tell you anyway… I`m some kind of person of study. I really enjoy being learning and acquiring knowledge from all the things that surround me. I think that I`d really love to do a Master that teaches the Faculty of Agronomy, that it’s called “Agricultural Sciences”, that its focused in strengthen what its already learned, and to do the graduate acquire a critical and analytical thinking especially in innovation of agro foods and its environmental context I’m thinking about how useful will be for me to perfect that area that I love so much Besides I want to do curses of everything hahaha… I mean, I really want to know some of technical English, apiculture, and a lot of things that I’m sure I’m going to know more advanced in the career.

In the other way, I really want to perfect some abilities that I develop when I was studying Phycology, maybe do some Master that it is relation whit that, will be useful.

I found so much important the social area in any profession that you be in, because give you the extra “touch” that interactions  with other contributes to the projects  that you are involved, and in the day by day, or in your job, to relate in a better way with your mates.

I hope that I could do at least one of this things ahaha but, attitude it’s not lacking!!

Dirty hands and a big smile!

Hi! I´ve always thought how hard it is imagining a future without being a dreamer! I really want to be a happy person, so that´s why I´m studying this beautiful career… Agronomy  J  I hope this  take me through quiet roads, in order to make  me a quiet person, with few  worries, and especially with connection to the environment , that´s all I ask … It is not too much, but I believe that all of this can make me really happy. Help others with my knowledge, seeing my daughter growing up with these values, in a quiet life, seeing a happy mamma, with time for her.
I realized that it is not too hard for me studying things, I actually enjoy a lot learn new things, and in this career, and I hope, in this profession too, you must always being learning new things, updating the things that you already now, and sharing this knowledge…  The social part of being an agronomist is what exciting me most.
Before I was in this career, I study a couple of years in the Faculty of Social Sciences, at the same University in which I am now, specifically in the Psychology career. I learn a lot of things that keep with me like a treasure. This part of my University trip has given to me a lot of tools that I put into practice in my current career, in my develop like a part of something important, and of course, in  my parenthood… Although  I left Psychology because I didn’t feel complete, I remember that I was really good in all that implied social interactions, and now I use like an advantage , and I share all I know about it with my friends and my career partners.

I believe that if you have dreams, you must fight for them… That´s what I’m doing here. I came day by day with my daughter to the Faculty, trying to make this happen, trying to make us a happy future, in pace with our Mother Earth, and in pace with ourselves… And of course, trying to be a good example to this little girl, who is absorbing like a sponge everything that catches her attention.  That´s how I picture my future, a quiet one…A happy one, with a job that give memore happiness than money, with my dirty hands and a big smile!
